Junior - 100 Ball cricket workshop

After the success of their T20 and Masterclass Workshops, we are pleased to announce that Kent Cricket are running some new junior 100 Ball Workshops to coincide with the new launch by the ECB.

Open to all regular hardball cricketers (within the correct age group), join us for a taste of the new 100 Ball Cricket game as we run workshops for boys and girls in Canterbury, Kent. Across three days at the end of August, give the batting, bowling and fielding skills involved in the 100 Ball a try and then participate in a 100 Ball Cricket game to finish.

We are also expecting some Kent Cricket special guests to join in the fun! Please see below the proposed content:

Fielding Workshop:        Developing skills in…

  • initiating & executing run outs
  • boundary riding skills including catching & ground fielding
  • reaction drills in the ring

Bowling Workshop:       Developing skills in…

  • death bowling hitting yorkers & slower balls
  • identifying the perfect line & length to certain batsman
  • understanding of field placings

Batting Workshop:         Developing skills in…

  • field manipulation, expanding scoring areas to hit
  • exploring 360 hitting
